About Me

I’ve been working with dogs since 2012, starting at a dog daycare where observing canine communication sparked my interest in dog behavior. While completing my final semester for my Bachelor of Science, I created an internship with the SFSPCA to bring therapy dogs into hospitals and care facilities.

Passionate about continued education, I completed a professional dog walker course and, in 2017, became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy. I also owned and operated my own dog walking business in San Francisco for six years before moving to Portland in 2023.

I stay active and engaged in the dog community by attending seminars on dog aggression and play facilitation, and I’m committed to ongoing learning in animal behavior and training. Outside of work, I enjoy skateboarding, cycling, gardening, and outdoor adventures with my dog, Birdie, including camping and hiking.
